Crystal passengers will now be needed to test for COVID-19 before their cruising time and then upon landing at the pier. They must acquire travel insurance, observe social-distancing management onboard, and may only engage in Crystal-sponsored shore-side ventures in ports of call.
Now, Crystal inaugurated an expanded set of health and protection measures for its Crystal Clean protocols. The purpose is to incorporate requirements for COVID-19 testing for visitors and crew, necessary travel insurance, in-port guidelines, and much more.
The new Crystal Clean protocols build on Crystal Clean-F 2.0. It is the first set of enhanced health and safety methods the company issued in the previous month.
The Crystal Clean protocols move exceeding Crystal’s already rigorous practices to further safeguard customers and crew’s well-being. They give passengers peace of mind when they revert to cruising the world afresh.
Crystal Clean procedures highlight essential updates in the company’s pre-boarding and embarkation methods. Also, they focused on social distancing conditions, shore excursion design, crew member standards, and modes, and more.
The latest Crystal Clean protocols are tailored to meet the luxury traveller’s unique needs. Also, to include the current recommendations implemented by Cruise Line International Associations to the Centers for Disease Control.
As per Crystal Clean, visitors will now be obliged to complete a COVID-19 test before their departure for their cruise. They will have to provide a written copy of their negative result at check-in, and negligence to comply with this requirement will result in rejection of boarding.
Besides, guests will take a second COVID-19 test upon arrival at the pier and must test negative before boarding. Visitors will be needed to obtain travel insurance, which can be purchased through Crystal or a third party.
While onboard, Crystal guests are asked to observe social distancing at least six feet of those outside of one’s travel party, including dance partners. And as a sequel, Crystal’s Ambassador Host dance performance, and Crystal’s Junior Activities programming and in-suite babysitting assistance, will be postponed until further notification.
Crystal is bound to fully agree with Cruise Line International Associations guidelines. It is also agreed to the Centers for Disease Contro for Crystal Symphony, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Endeavor, European Union Healthy Gateways for the Crystal Esprit.
Moreover, any regional or state regulations set by European cities and countries for the Crystal River Cruises will update them according to their instructions. Crystal has willingly extended its suspension of global journeys until the end of 2020.
All Crystal vessels over the fleet, comprising Ocean, River, Yacht, and Expedition, allow nearly double the area per person than ships of comparable size. The highest area ratios in the industry and their social spaciousness would be further expanded through the Crystal Clean program’s resulting public health and safety standards.
Moreover, Crystal Endeavor and Crystal’s River vessels are all-suite and all-balcony with the greatest staterooms on its two Ocean vessels highlighting private galleries for fresh airflow.
The protection of visitors and crew members is Crystal’s priority. The line will recommend service only when its skilful team and global health and state authorities show that it is safe to do remarkably.
